Vinoth, a former structural engineer with two years of experience under renowned architect Mr. Ramakrishnan, transitioned to managing my family business in timber, tiles, and sanitary trading in 2010.
Alongside consulting on building projects mostly individual homes and over a decade of pursuing my business in trading sector, Post-COVID, I ventured into resin art, founding Vira Woods in 2020. With four years of expertise, I now aim to scale up, collaborate with like-minded individuals, and establish Vira Woods as a thriving startup in resin artistry.
At VIRA WOODS, I aim to innovate responsibly and deliver elegant, eco-friendly designs that elevate interior spaces. By using reclaimed materials, artisans breathe new life into discarded wood, reducing waste while highlighting its natural beauty. Engineered wood offers durability and consistency, complementing the organic imperfections of scrap wood. The addition of resin—clear, pigmented, or textured—creates striking visual effects, such as glossy finishes or mesmerizing swirls, that enhance the wood’s character.
